What's up with Planking?

Now, we all know Planking is the new trend around here, but someone suggests otherwise. Rapper Xzibit dissed the new trend by tweeting:

Planking is THE dumbest shit ever. #Planking was a way to transport slaves on ships during the slave trade, its not funny, Educate yourselves.”
